Actors Career Studios Classes

Join our "Acting for the Camera" class to embark on an enriching journey into the world of film acting.  This course is tailored for aspiring actors seeking to refine their skills in an intimate and challenging group setting, guided by an experienced industry professional.

Each session of this dynamic class offers a unique experience, delving into various facets of acting for the camera.  Highlights of the course include intensive training in audition techniques, cold reading mastery, crafting compelling demo reels, nurturing career accountability, immersive scene work, and the art of improvisation.  We'll explore diverse genres of film and television, conducting in-depth scene analysis to deepen your understanding of character and story dynamics.

As part of your creative exploration, you'll engage in assignments and in-class exercises that involve scene writing, scene direction, and the development of character monologues.  Throughout the course, we'll tackle essential skills such as effective memorization, boosting confidence in mock casting interviews, and refining your self-tape studio setup for optimal performance.

In the upcoming round of our course, each actor will gain exclusive access to The Actors Career Studios' Scene Database, featuring a treasure trove of over 11,000 scenes, audition sides, and screenplays.  This resource will empower you to find the perfect scene to showcase your acting prowess.

Furthermore, we'll dedicate time to type exercises, helping you prepare for headshots and discover the roles that align best with your unique abilities and appearance.  Uncover the facets of acting that resonate with you and elevate your on-screen presence.
